COWS AND GRAVEYARDS |

Being on the road quite a bit going from one juggling event to another, we have lots of ways to pass the time on the road. We do normal things too, like singing with tapes, radio and together, the alphabet game (by the way, Kathy has the world record as far as we know on the Alphabet game...she blew her old record away and went from A-Z in 1 minute and 4 seconds. If anyone has a better time, email us and let us know.) We read the Bible, Kathy cross-stitches sometimes, but we have a pretty fierce competition of cows and graveyards going on all the time too! On our current count, I'm up 15 games to 11.
HOW TO PLAY: This is a two person game for long trips. Each player has their side of the road. They are to count the number of cow pastures on their side. The first person to 20 wins. However, should the other person see a graveyard on your side of the road, all your cows die and you have to start over at zero. (If you have more than two people to play, then you have to have a cows and graveyards tournament.) Also, you can make up your own set of rules (before you start a game). The other day we decided to add a "Z" rule. If one player sees a "z" that means the other player's cows fall asleep and they can't add cows or see graveyards until they spell "AWAKE" with the letters from billboards and signs. And, we also added a rule that you can "save" your cows if you can recite Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, & Romans 10:9,10 before you get past the graveyard after "cemetery" has been called. You've got to have fast lips for most cemeteries!
