OUR 1 Year Anniversary was a BLAST!!! (August 12, 2001)  We've left the details online for those who care to see what we did in the year and a half before kids...we don't have nearly the time to document our lives online these days!  But we do keep the kids area up-to-date.

First, we juggled in Alvin, TX at a GREAT church that really took care of us...then we went to a wonderful Bed and Breakfast!

Not your ordinary B&B!  This B&B was a Yacht in the harbor in Galveston, TX!

This was our view...the water life, and boats were a blast to watch!

The Sunset was beautiful!

Of course we did bring along the top of our wedding cake that had been frozen for a year...

And we did take one bite of that old cake!

One bite...then we got out the cake that was given to us at the church we juggled at that evening!  MMmmm!  Much better!

Did I mention that Kathy wasn't as nice to me this time feeding me...as she was at the wedding?

And of course, every B&B has to have a good breakfast!  We had breakfast tacos.  And boy were they good!

We drove the van onto a ferry...it took us out to some really cool beach country!

No body was there!  It was open for public driving too...and that was really fun to do too!  We walked and drove all down the beach.

We went to Red Lobster for one Anniversary lunch...and the church had taken us to Zios for our other anniversary lunch...we had no idea that they were right next to each other...on our drive back...we realized we were stopped at the same place we had eaten at the day before...only right next door.

One of the sites we saw out the window was an early morning cruise ship coming into port!  It did a 180 degree turn right in front of our windows and backed into the port!  There were 12 or more dolphins following it!  We found out why.  The prop on a cruise boat is 24 feet in diameter and it stirs up the fish on the bottom of the waters!  Mmmm!

The post outside our window was a common stop for water fowl!  We really enjoyed watching them too!
